Contest Theme:
Tech Vogue – Designs that reflect the merging of technology with style. Think holographic patterns, cybernetic patterns, neon meshes and more.
How to Participate:
1. Register: Sign up for the event below.
2. Design: Create a new dress using The F*Word Platform.
3. Submit on the App: Submit through the app’s Fashathon button. Follow the submission tutorial. We will appreciate it if you share your design on Instagram with the hashtag #FashathonSU and tag us.
Design Your Dress in 3 steps:
1. Sign-up or Login into the app and select from predefined garment templates (you can also import your own 3D templates). If you are new to The F* Word, don’t worry, we have you covered ..
- We will do an online demo session on Oct 22nd 2024, at 12:30 PM IST
- We also have a quick onboarding flow to get you going as you start designing for the first time.
2. You can add fabrics using existing templates or use the AI powered fabric generator to create fabrics of your choice aligning with the theme (just type what’s in your mind, like “neon mesh” or “molten chrome” etc).
3. [Optional] Fit the dress on yourself:
- Once you have finished designing, copy the link to your masterpiece by clicking the share button.
- Check out your creation by pasting the link onto a new browser tab.
- Upload a picture of yourself wearing your design and share it with the world! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #FashathonSU and tag us on Insta.

No, but you can design and submit using a desktop or mobile device. We recommend using a desktop/tablet for best results.
Do I need to bring my own 3D file?
You can use our preloaded 3D models. If preferred, bring your own OBJ format design.

Yes, it’s recommended.
